We are The Furballs! (Puppy Cafe)

Hey guys,

There are so many café opened around the world, but the best café opened so far is for the dogs and it is the Dog café, We are The Furballs. Singapore’s FIRST Dog petting café. All the Dog lovers out there, this is a place you would not wish to miss. I don’t actually need a pet at home because sometimes the maintenance and looking after can be expensive. Also sometimes my family is not in a favour in keeping a pet whether a cat or a dog as they are all working and no one is there to look after them at home.  So when I heard of this Dog café I was so happy and excited to visit them. I have been to cat café earlier. What you can do is to visit this café as and when you like and show your love to these dogs.

Once I stepped in the café with my mother we just fell in love with all the 8 pets roaming around the place. They are so adorable and loving that you would not feel like leaving them at all. They are so cute and harmless. These furry dogs are of various colour and sizes.

We bought some food which came in small packets at reasonable price for these dogs to feed them.

Although the café doesn’t serve food we still enjoyed having some beverages. Each time they saw some food pellets in our hand they came running to have them. We loved petting them so much that they would sit on our laps cuddled for very long.

We played with them, took photos and enjoyed every moment with these cute little furry balls.

1. What is your favourite country?

  1. Favourite? I don’t have a favourite because I haven’t travelled to many places but ask me that question in a few years maybe haha. But for now I think Boracay, Phillipines is number 1.

Since I am a water baby, I would love to go to any quiet beach. Actually, I wouldn’t mind going to the hills too.

4. Do you make money from blogging?

Not yet. My aim is not to make money but inspire people and just travel more.

5. One piece of advice to new bloggers?

Well, I am a new blogger too so I don’t have any advice but to tell them not to give up because blogging is hard work and if you don’t give in your 100% then it won’t work. When I started out, someone told me it’s a long term commitment so have patience and work hard.

Happy Father’s Day!

Father’s Day was celebrated on the 18th June. Father’s Day is about finding a thoughtful way to truly celebrate a special relationship in your life. My father, who wasn’t even aware what we were actually planning for him. I was super excited as after celebrating Mother’s Day it was another day for me to have fun with my family together. My father is someone whom I look up to for making many decisions in the family whether its planning a vacation or celebrating any occasion or for that matter even if it’s my studies. He always has the best solution for us. Father’s always think that they are the most ordinary men in the family but Father’s Day makes them feel really special and they turn from unsung heroes to the most loved ones.My mother and I started planning for this day a week before. We had big plans as it was a Sunday and a holiday for the rest of my family. My Mother cooked a delicious meal in the afternoon for all of us. We spent our time playing Carrom after lunch, rested for a while and then we were all set to enjoy together in the evening. We started getting ready for the evening and headed towards a special restaurant for some Thai and Chinese dinner. It was a rainy day and we were thrilled to move out in the rain for dinner. Late in the evening as the sun was about to set we could feel the cool breeze so we all thought that the restaurant we chose was best suited to the weather.

We roamed around the streets of Bugis, clicked some beautiful pictures of us. We then settled down in the restaurant with some chilled beer and mouth-watering snacks like Spring Rolls and Dry Chilli Chicken. Then after our cool chit chat and some more pictures we ordered some yummy food which had Thai fried rice and some Lemon Chicken, Fried Veg Noodles and Sweet and Sour Chicken. I had some nice cool Honey Green Tea. We all enjoyed the meal and the weather. My father enjoyed every moment and was very happy.
Happy Father’s Day!

A magical day in Singapore!

Blog1

Hey guys,

I am so sorry I’ve been so out of touch but I needed a little time to myself. But I am back now, exploring Singapore, eating, traveling and clicking pictures (sometimes i do look like a fool haha).

Today I took a break and went to Suntec City. We came across the fountain of wealth and I planned to stop there and take a few pictures. Must-do steps for the good things from the fountain are:

1). Stretch out your right hand and touch the water.

2). Make a silent wish.

3). Follow the directional sign (which is to your left).

4). Walk around 3 times.

This was the first time I had done something like this but the weather was amazing and it felt good. I think anyone who visits Singapore must go there once.

Then we had dinner at the Food Republic where you can get a variety of cuisines.

At last, we stopped at Yogurt land. It was like a magical place for someone who loves frozen yogurt. The best part is that it is a self served frozen yogurt experience with a view of the fountain of wealth. The decor is so cute. so this is how it works. You choose a cup from small, medium or large. Then you serve yourself with yogurt of your choice of flavour. The last and my favourite part are the toppings where you can choose any kind of topping and put it in your yogurt. The last step is to weigh the cup. 100g is S$3. So according your the weight of your personal made yogurt, you pay.

I ordered two kinds of yogurts. One was chocolate milkshake with toppings of gems, kitkat, marshmallows and shaved chocolate. Second was Salted Caramel Pecan with shaved chocolate, nuts and kitkat.

I personally loved the concept, the decor, the view and getting there is very easy.
